Spiritual Connection

Gain a Closer Spiritual Connection

  • How do I gain a closer spiritual connection?
  • How do I tap into my guides to develop my intuition?
  • How can I use my intuition to read oracle cards and do pendulum dowsing?

These are the biggest questions we ask when we start to become interested in spiritual development.

In fact, I even asked these questions myself when I first started out on my spiritual journey 14 years ago. I wanted to learn it all in 5 mins and master it all really quickly too. I was thirsty for information but overwhelmed with all the information out there. It was mind boggling.

So, What’s the Answer?

  • You need to take it step by step.
  • Make sure that you learn all the fundamental basics such as grounding and protection to protect your energy. Any kind of energy work, including doing readings can drain your energy really quickly and it’s important to learn to do these before you start.
  • Then you can learn lots of spiritual development topics one at a time, in bite size chunks.

Tips to Develop Your Intuition

  • My biggest tip is to utilise the amazing power of Reiki. Reiki taps into the universal life force energy of love and light. It taps into the highest vibration there is so by receiving Reiki you are gaining the closest spiritual connection that you can.

  • Next, I would suggest meditating every single day. It might seem like a bit of a chore and, if you’re anything like me, you’ll say “I can’t meditate as I can’t relax enough”, or “I don’t have the time”. I know because I used to say those things myself for years but meditating 10 minutes a day makes such a difference. You not only gain a closer spiritual connection with meditation, it also massively improves your wellbeing and state of mind. If you would like one of my 10 minute guided meditations, you get one free when you sign up to my newsletter in the box at the bottom.

  • The third tip is to practice, practice, practice. The more you practice, the more readings you do, the more pendulum dowsing you do, the stronger and stronger your connection becomes.

Easy when you know how, ay?

Easiest way to manifest

Easiest Way to Manifest

What on earth is the easiest way to manifest?

I know how it feels; you’ve read the Secret, you’ve created your vision board, you’ve asked for what you want and you’ve tried to visualise it till you’re blue in the face. But… Nothing’s happening

In fact, everything’s going pear shaped.

Things are looking worse

You’re struggling to stay positive

You’re struggling to stay in high vibe

OMG! Why is it so hard?

What am I doing wrong?

Why does it seem to work for everyone but me?

I give up!

Does this sound familiar?

Then I know exactly how you feel as I’ve been there, I’ve done that. In fact I’ve got the flipping T-shirt but I am here to tell you there is a much easier way. A much easier way than having to monitor your thoughts and try to think positive when everything is stacked against you.

In fact manifesting is really so easy, it’s like magic!

Forget Harry Potter though as anyone can do it and I’m going to tell you how.

I have one number 1 thing to manifest what you want and you’re never going to believe it’s so simple. In fact, it is so simple you might not even believe it but believe me it works!

Are you ready?

Are you sure you are ready?

OK the secret is, well actually it isn’t a secret but everyone tries to make it so complicated.

The number one thing to attract what you want is To Be Happy Now!

That can’t just be it I hear you cry!

How can being happy just be it. That’s too good to be true!

Well it’s not. Believe me.

Yes, there are lots of things you can do to instil happiness and I’m going to give you some of my tips to get there.

Believe me, it’s taken me 54 years to come to this conclusion and be at the state of happiness and contentment that I am at now but it really is the answer to manifesting anything you want.

And I’m not talking being all happy clappy and saying positive affirmations and seeing the positive in everything because that’s often false. It’s feeling really happy within that matters. Happy with yourself, with your lot, that’s what matters.

So, how did I get here?

I worked on myself every single day. To be honest, I don’t really know how long for, probably at least two years regularly if I’m honest but I started 7 years ago in 2013 when I started my Reiki journey.

I’ve healed, I’ve cried, I’ve sunk into depression at times but I’ve let go of all that did not serve me and I’ve created a happiness that is so wonderful I can hardly explain it.

So my advice to you is to find your happy and do whatever you can to find it.

What do I do?

I have a spiritual practice that I do every single morning which consists of the following.

Now I know some of you may not have time to do all this in a morning but there’s always the evening as well and believe me it is well worth finding a few minutes out of each and every day to change your life.

  1. I read a chapter of a good book. Something that really inspires and uplifts me, usually a spiritual book.
  2. I meditate for at least 10 mins. I have a fabulous daily abundance meditation that I listen to myself which only takes 10 mins and it really sets me up for the day.
  3. I send Reiki to my intentions every single morning.

All of the above I do before I even get out of bed but at night before you go to sleep is just as effective too as you will wake up feeling wonderful.

4. I write in my journal. I pour out everything that is bothering me, everything I need to heal from and improve and I finish it off with things that I feel grateful for.

5. I do some tapping (EFT) with Brad Yates. Look him up on You Tube for anything you need to work on. I usually do his quick money magnet one which you can find on the link below:

Money Magnet with Brad Yates

I sometimes skip some of the tasks above but, without fail, I make sure I do 2 & 3 as I’ve noticed when I don’t meditate and send Reiki I usually have a pants day and feel completely unbalanced.

And, that’s it.

Yes, you need to learn to trust that the universe or whatever you believe in always delivers everything in divine timing for you and more on that next month but if you start with this it will really make a difference.

Everything comes from within, including attracting the life you long for and everything in it so it makes sense to go within and work on yourself every single day.

And don’t even start me on the “I don’t have time”. I used to say the exact same thing so I made the choice to find the time and, boy, do I wish I had done this sooner.

If you would like to sign up to my daily abundance meditation, just click on the link below and sign up to my newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time and your email address will not be passed on to anyone else.

I can’t wait to hear how you get on.

I Can't be bothered to meditate

I Can’t be Bothered to Meditate

We all know that meditation is supposed to improve our wellbeing

But do we do it?

* We say we haven’t got the time

* We’ll do it next week

* We need to sit crossed legged underneath a tree

* It’s not an everyday thing

How many times have you done things on autopilot?

– You’ve drove to work and not remembered the journey

– You’ve rushed your tea and not really tasted it as your favourite soap is on in 5 mins

– You’ve gone on a journey loads of times and only just noticed something?

This is because our minds are super BUSY all day every day

Did you know that having an overactive mind leads to stress, anxiety, depression?

* We don’t enjoy things

* We don’t live in the moment

* We worry about everything we have to do

* Our minds are constantly thinking of a gazillion different things

MEDITATION means you learn to live more in the moment and to STOP worrying, STOP stressing, learn to FOCUS your mind

MEDITATING regularly for a few minutes most days can help you to eliminate those negative thoughts and replace them with NEW POSITIVE ones

It CALMS, It Energises!

Think you ain’t got time to meditate? You’re Wrong

Why Meditate?

  • How many times have you done something on autopilot?
  • Drove to work and not remembered all of the journey?
  • Eaten a meal and not really savoured the flavour?
  • Gone for a walk and not taken in your surroundings?
  • Just noticed something on your journey that you never noticed before?

Mindfulness can also be about living in the moment; savouring it and focussing entirely on what you are doing. Meditation or mindfulness as it is often called has a powerful influence on your health, your wellbeing and your happiness and can also be a tremendous way of developing your intuition. It can offer an opportunity to get in touch with your mind on an intricate spiritual level and it is a state of thoughtful awareness. It can help with stress anxiety and depression, improve your memory and can help you enjoy better and more fulfilling relationships. It can also be effective in reducing the impact of serious conditions such as chronic pain. It can also bolster the immune system.

Different Methods

There are many different methods of meditation. Here are a few of the main ones:

  • Guided meditation – whereby someone talks you through a scenario and creates a visual scene for you to follow or gives you some form of healing by using affirmations which can be set to relaxing music.
  • Breathing and focussing meditation. There is an exercise below that you can do to begin with to practise this form of meditation.
  • Intuitive Guidance Meditation whereby you can ask for intuitive guidance. This could be for a specific situation or you could just ask your guides to give you what you need to know today.

Breathing & Focus Exercise

  1. Sit erect in a straight back chair and close your eyes
  2. Focus your attention on your breath as it flows in and out of your body
  3. After a while, your mind may wander. When you notice this, gently bring your attention back to your breath. The act of realising that your mind has wandered and bringing yourself back without criticising yourself is central to the practice of mindful meditation.
  4. Your mind may eventually become calm or it may not. You may get a sense of absolute stillness. It may only be fleeting but that does not matter. Whatever happens just allow it.
  5. After a minute, let your eyes open and take in the room again.

This form of meditation allows you to observe your thoughts as they arise in your mind and little by little to let go of struggling with them.

You will realise that your thoughts come and go of their own accord and that all thoughts are transient; they come and go and you have a choice about whether you act on them or not.

You can think of negative thoughts as black clouds and watch them float away.

Doing this exercise can put you back in control of your thoughts.

How and When Should you Meditate?

  • Sit or lie down (however your feel most comfortable)
  • Don’t try too hard
  • Don’t expect too much at first
  • Main reason to meditate is to quieten your mind and relax
  • You don’t have to be in a yoga pose or sat upright
  • It can just be focussing on what you are doing and giving it your full attention
  • Play some nice music if it helps you to relax better
  • Light some incense
  • Light a candle
  • Meditating is best practised every day if you can
  • However, don’t worry if you don’t manage it every day
  • 2-3 minutes is all you need
  • Or, even if you only do a 10 minute meditation once a week it will make a difference

  • Meditation really does make a difference to your wellbeing
  • It helps you to quieten your mind
  • Switches you off from the everyday chaos
  • Brings you closer to source which, in turn, develops your intuition
  • Helps with anxiety and depression and other illnesses
  • There are lots of different methods
  • Experiment and find one or more method/s that suit you
  • Do it as often as you can; a few minutes a day is all you need
  • Don’t worry if your mind wanders, just bring it back and focus and don’t beat yourself up about it

Can you really afford not to find the time to meditate. Try it and you will realise all of the benefits.
